| Spot-mini can twerk and moon walk better than you. |
Boston Dynamics, the robotics company that is at the forefront of creating our demise, has released a video (embeded below) of their Spot-mini, robot dog dancing better than at least 80% of the human population (and that number could increase as the fallout continues).
Spot-mini has a battery life of about 90 minutes so it can maintain the rage in any dance competition without dropping pace. We really don't stand a chance. If one of these things signs on to Dancing with the Stars how is its partner and the other contestants ever going to keep up?
With moves like twerking and the moon walk in its repertoire will there be a twist with Spot-mini actually busting out the Twist (like we did last Summer before the machines went to Funky Town)?
Who knows for sure what's next other than robots are now putting the actual robot into the Robot Dance. It's armageddon on the dance floor, baby!
